Located in the heart of Puigcerdà at Placa dels Herois, UNA Puigcerda Bar Restaurant offers a delightful blend of traditional Spanish flavors infused with modern twists, creating a vibrant and memorable dining experience. This welcoming establishment perfectly balances innovation and authenticity—evident from their use of tablets at each table for ordering, which adds a sleek touch to their inviting, lively atmosphere.
The culinary offerings here excel in tapas and pintxos, with standout dishes such as the crispy patatas bravas, chistorra paired with fried potatoes, and piquant green peppers delighting patrons time and again. The "pintxopote" tour—a Thursday night tradition at UNA—showcases these exquisite bites in a convivial setting that brings locals and visitors together over flavorful small plates at unbeatable prices, like the €2.50 pintxopote special. For those seeking a more substantial meal, the menú del día at just €10 enchants with its hearty portions and genuine taste, proving that quality does not need to come with a premium price tag.
The ambiance is casual yet thoughtfully curated to be accommodating for all ages and groups, as witnessed by families and large parties alike. Visitors often praise the attentive yet relaxed service; staff members, including a multilingual server fluent in French, Spanish, and English, create an inclusive environment where guests feel understood and cared for. The tattooed waiter and his young colleague receive commendations for their warm friendliness and professionalism, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.
Whether stopping by for a quick coffee and fresh pastry, or settling in for a full meal showcasing Catalan culinary traditions, UNA Puigcerda Bar Restaurant excels at making every guest feel at home. It’s no surprise that many, like Mia Desautels, return multiple times, drawn by both the consistently delicious flavors and exceptional hospitality. This vibrant spot is a true gem in Puigcerdà’s dining scene, ideal for those who appreciate authentic food, spirited conversations, and a lively terrace atmosphere.
For travelers and locals alike, UNA is not just a meal—it’s a celebration of culture, taste, and community nestled in one of Girona’s most charming squares.

Brand new restaurant at Puigcerdà, yet quite innovative (they use tablets on each table to get the order) and very good menu. They are part of the "pintxopote" tour on Thursday's night and with an excellent one this week: fried potato + chistorra + Green pepper. Definitely worth to try how the regular menu looks like. Loved this place. Stopped by for a coffee and cake with two little boys and when one of them spilt his hot chocolate they couldn’t have been more relaxed about the mess. Food was delicious too. Thanks guys!

We came for a selection of tapas and everything was spectacular. The food was delicious, especially the patatas bravas. The waiters were lovely — even with the restaurant almost full, they managed to stay friendly and attentive. Especially the young tattooed guy, and the young girl did her best. Highly recommended place, especially if you appreciate good service.

Menú del día just for 10 Euro is unbeatable. Besides the low price, it was delicious and filling.

It doesn’t get better than this in Puigcerda! The menu formula is unmatched in terms of quality price. The server at the bar could speak French Español and English which helped me a lot as a tourist, and was able to recommend me the local favourites and must-try dishes! The food was filling and so good… that I came back three other times! If you happened to be in Puigcerda, I would highly recommend this establishment (not to mention that it is very well situated and can just sit outside and enjoy the sun with some drinks)!

Great experience! We had a group of 16 people looking for dinner at 18:00 (6:00pm) on a Wednesday. Unlike Most restaurants in Puigcerdà, UNA is open on Wednesdays and offers dinner before 20:00 (8:00pm). It doesn't appear that they take reservations via the web, but I reached out to them on WhatsApp to confirm they could handle our group - they were very responsive. They have tables inside and also have a fully enclosed terrace area, which is where we sat. There were plenty of tables available and the wait staff was prompt and attentive. They accommodated a few dietary restrictions in our group, including pescatarian and a dairy allergy. Parking was easy once we realized there's a large town parking deck one street over. There is some street parking available, but the parking deck is way easier. The food itself was good - they have a large menu, including tapas and burgers. See images in the Google Maps 'Photos and videos' Menu section.
